About us
Garlyk potash mining and processing complex is the first industrial enterprise in Turkmenistan to manufacture potash fertilizers. The construction of the complex was carried out on the basis of decree № 10802 of the president of Turkmenistan of January 15, 2010. General contractor of the construction was Belgorkhimprom Joint Stock Company (Republic of Belarus). The complex was commissioned into operation on March 31, 2017.

Production
Opening of productive layers of the deposit is provided to be carried out by two vertical mine shafts. The first mine shaft - the main mine shaft (the so-called skip shaft) - is designed to deliver to the surface of the extracted ore with a capacity of 1520 tons per hour, as well as supply air to the mine.
The depth of the mine shaft is 364 meters. The inner diameter of the mine shaft is 6.5 meters. The capacity of the skip is 30 tons. The lifting speed is 11.6 m/s.
The second shaft - is designed for lowering and lifting people or cargo for various purposes weighing no more than 13 tons, and also serves as a discharge of the outgoing air jet.
The depth of the mine shaft is 308 meters. The inner diameter of the mine shaft is 6.5 meters. The lifting speed is 8 m/s.
